B. Secret Text Privacy Appendix

This appendix supplements the Covalith General Privacy Policy for Secret Text.

1. Product Context

Secret Text is a secure text translator (not a chat platform). It encrypts/decrypts text locally and supports copy/paste workflows across IM apps.

2. Data Processed by the App

2.1 Local-only data (on device)

• Encryption keys and session state
• Contact aliases you create
• Plaintext/ciphertext content you input
• Diagnostic export files you explicitly generate

2.2 Optional telemetry and crash diagnostics

• Default: off
• Controlled by the in-app "Share Anonymous Diagnostics" toggle
• When enabled, only aggregated counters and redacted diagnostics are shared
• No plaintext, ciphertext, private keys, or full fingerprints are intentionally included

2.3 Subscription metadata

For Apple subscriptions, the app processes entitlement-related metadata such as product identifier, status, and expiration timestamp to enforce feature access. Payment processing is handled by Apple.

3. Third Parties

Secret Text may send limited technical data to:

• Apple (subscription and store infrastructure)
• Sentry (crash/telemetry diagnostics only when consent is enabled and DSN is configured)

4. What We Do Not Intentionally Collect

• Full message bodies for analytics purposes
• Private key material in outbound telemetry
• Advertising identifiers for tracking

• On-device content remains under user control unless removed
